Will My facial Hair Grow Back Thicker ?

There is no need to worry about the hair on your face getting any darker. Since dermaplaning only targets the vellus hair (peachfuzz).The hair will grow back the same size and color. Any thicker, darker terminal hair (eyebrows/upper lip etc) should be waxed these area will be avoided through-out the treatment. It is physiologically impossible for the hair to grow back thicker and dark, so no need to panic and worry.

Would my skin Benefit from dermaplaining ?

Dermaplaning is safe for all skin types and colors and provides an alternative to chemical peels. Suitable for anyone who has sensitive skin and redness. This treatment can be done on anyone over the age of 18. A prefect alternative if you are pregnant or breastfeeding and want exfoliation without the use of chemical. This treatment can be carried out every 4 weeks to work with your skins natural renewal cycle.

What should i do after my treatment ?

You may feel a slight itchiness or a stinging sensation your skin Your skin may be slightly red, this will reduce over the next 24 hours this is completely normal.

What to avoid:

- Avoid touching your skin, this could transfer bacteria on to your skin, leading to rashes/breakouts. Please do not apply makeup and perfumed products for 24-48 hours

-Avoid the use of exfoliating products for at least 1-2 weeks following treatment,as your skin may be more sensitive .

- No Facial Waxing (minimum of 7 days), dermal fillers or botox for 2-4 weeks depending upon area .

- Avoid excessive heat,heavy workouts, steam rooms or saunas and chlorine for at least 3 days after treatment. This also goes for direct sunlight, sunbeds & self-tanning products for 1-2 weeks after treatment.
